About Us

Our Story:

How do you grow in your faith during the week? Are you seeing and making the most of the opportunities God is giving you?

Activate exists to awaken faith in two ways:

  • To help you stay close to Jesus every day.
  • To inspire you to put your faith into action.

All of us need encouragement during the week, and our prayer is that the content of this site will deepen your relationship with Jesus.

The Start
God transforms small efforts into life-giving movements. Activate started with a nudge from God, a love for people, a few faithful volunteers, and many encouraging responses. The calls, letters, and emails we receive shape Activate! A letter from a man in jail, people beginning to come to church, an email from a man in the Middle East, and a thank you from an elderly woman who physically can not leave her home: they were all asking us to continue and grow this ministry. Activate officially launched in the Summer of 2013 and God has expanded the outreach rapidly. We continue to be so grateful for every person that contacts us and we would enjoy hearing from you!
The Heart
Activate exists to help people know and walk with Jesus. Our focus is spreading God’s Word around the world. The name Activate comes from the verse: “The word of God is living and active…” (Hebrews 4:12) because we believe the Bible is good and powerful. Our prayer is that everyone would have access to God’s Word and experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus.

Personally, the first time I (Jesse) read the Bible was in a class at Dartmouth College (it was many years ago, yes I even had hair at that point of my life). The Scriptures are extremely powerful, and reading the Bible led me to God. Deciding to follow Jesus was sincerely the best day of my life. It is true that each person makes their own faith decisions, and people who interact with Activate come from a diverse range of backgrounds. We are convinced that everyone should be given the opportunity to know Jesus and walk closely with Him.

The Growth
Some people pray for Activate, some people are volunteering in specific roles with the talents God has given them, some people have given outstanding suggestions and creative ideas, some people offer financial support, some people tell their friends about the videos and website, and some people develop the technology that supports this ministry…we are grateful for everyone! As the story of Activate continues to develop, we invite you to participate in the script God is writing. It is an exciting journey, and it is all for Jesus!
There are five major components to Activate:

  1. Internet: Reaching people around the globe through many videos and websites.
  2. Television: Bringing the Scripture with clarity and love into millions of homes.
  3. Radio: Leading people to God through both interview and teaching programs.
  4. Serving: Meeting practical needs as people share God’s compassion on a daily basis.
  5. Publication: Providing resources to build people up in their faith.
Our Beliefs
Vision: Daily Grace

People everywhere experiencing and sharing the grace of Jesus in their daily lives.

Mission: Abide and Respond

Helping people experience the grace of Jesus in daily life by learning to abide and respond at all times and in all places, so that we can glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

The Bible

We believe the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments to be the only inspired, inerrant, authoritative, Word of God in the original writings. These verbally inspired books are the final authority in faith and life.

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. We believe in His deity, in His sinless life, in His miracles, and in His atoning death on the cross.

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death but also that spiritual death which is separation from God; that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word and deed.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood. Salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus is accompanied by being born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby becoming children of God, a relationship in which one is eternally secure.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly life in the present world.

The Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and His present life for us as High Priest and Advocate. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those saved unto a resurrection life, and those lost unto a resurrection of conscious punishment and damnation.

Grace believes in baptism for believers. After an individual puts their faith in Christ they are ready to be baptized. For a child or an adult, baptism is an outward sign of their faith as going under and out of the water demonstrates the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. Being baptized tells of their salvation and life in Christ.
